Elon Musk revealed his new invention today - the hovercraft. It wowed invited guests who were literally blown over by the industrial quantities of hot air he produced. Prototypes are already in production for a new vehicle which will skim across the English channel carrying lots of cars. "This is science fiction," said Elon. "The kind of thing that has never been attempted before but commercially failed because the huge energy requirements and lack of precision manoeuvrability made the product ultimately uneconomic for mass production. It's a completely new innovation and nothing like this has ever existed before, commercially failed leaving huge debts and ended up relegated to the back hanger of a motor museum as a historical curiosity or a classic example of an engineering cul-de-sac. People say hovercraft don't work but there's at least one in operation that goes to the Isle of Wight"
